The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières 1er Cru has a very strict, malic opening on the nose, touches of wet limestone and Granny Smith. The palate continues in that surprising strict theme, but this is underpinned by a decent line of acidity and satisfying vigour on the finish.
